The Institute of Vocational Training AKMI was founded in 1989 and is now one of the leading Vocational Training Institutes and providers of post-secondary education in Greece. Our overarching goal is to provide students with a quality education so that they can acquire the knowledge and skills to become productive, scientific-oriented, broad-minded, and ideal citizens of the society. In addition to the technical learning, our experienced educators give the students tools to collaborate and problem solve, brainstorm and reflect. Encouraging social inclusion and narrowing the gender gap are important issues which we work on from an organizational point of view, but also by encouraging students to contribute to through their training

Accreditation Council for Entrepreneurial and Engaged Universities (ACEEU) strives to usher in a new era for higher education through evaluating, supporting and igniting the potential of HEIs on their road to third mission excellence. We are the only globally-operating quality assurance body with a focus on acknowledging engagement and entrepreneurship of universities and our ultimate goal is fostering the creation of greater social, economic and cultural impact by universities. Founded in 2016 as part of the University Industry Innovation Network (UIIN) in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, ACEEU spun out of UIIN in 2019 to form an independent organization, and moved its headquarters to Muenster in Germany.

We believe in learning, in fact EUEI was founded on the concept of ‘continuous learning’; a programme that provides enrichment to learners in a wide range of sectors, covering topics that are professional and/or personal. We place tremendous worth on the informal and flexible nature of continuing education and crafting flexible, online learning courses for those wishing to improve themselves and stay ahead in their careers and in business. Collaboration and peer learning form an important part of EUEI courses.

Training, mentoring and online learning are three things we engage in professionally and three things we promote in our work. Over the last 20 years, Orla Casey has built up a solid reputation for innovative problem solving, economic development vision and the design, funding and delivery of game changing projects and programmes.

The European forum for Vocational Education and Training (EfVET) is a unique European-wide professional association which has been created by and for providers of vocational education and training (VET) in all European countries. Our mission is to champion and enrich vocational education and training through transnational co-operation by building a panEuropean network of institutions and practitioners. EfVET aims to: – promote quality and innovation in Vocational Education and Training throughout Europe; – develop collaboration, mutual co-operation and sharing of good practice; – give VET institutes a platform of influence in EU policy.
